Most hours of the day, Princess Luna sits calmly in the barn, watching over her herd.It's a good day.The Princess' stomach rumbles as she stands up to take a walk around the herd. Her eyes wander to a brown mare with a flowing mane and tail, one of her favorite mares. The mare winks at her before turning to nibble on a nearby clover. Luna smiles and nods, then gracefully picks up her pace and trots away.A few hours pass, and the Princess takes a seat on a fence and watches the herd graze on the grass of the pasture. She watches a filly gallop by, and Luna remembers a memory of the time she caught the filly jumping over a fence. She seems to recall a time in her youth when she and the filly were friends.

She and the filly looked at each other in awe of the other's amazing athletic ability. Luna smiled and then suddenly found herself dashing across the pasture, jumping the fence and racing up to the filly to play. The two horses raced across the pasture, playing tag and whoops and shouting with laughter. Luna and the filly were so enthralled with each other that neither noticed how the pasture quickly came to a stop. Eventually, the filly slipped and Luna went crashing into a pile of rocks. The filly rolled off her as she fell. The filly was crying, and Luna found that she was lying on the ground. She stood up and ran over to the filly, who was now shivering, frozen with fear. Luna nudged the filly gently and she shook herself. "It's okay, you're okay," Luna assured the filly, stroking her muzzle. "I'm sorry, but I just couldn't help myself. I couldn't control myself. I'm sorry." The filly stood up slowly, and though shivering and trembling, she managed to smile and thank Luna. Luna laughed in joy at the filly's reaction and the filly grabbed Luna's mane and slowly ran towards the barn, her tail flapping behind her.
